Changes in Management in Italy and Germany

WEB Windenergie AG announces changes in the management of its companies in Italy and Germany.

In Italy, Rainer Karan assumes the role of Managing Director together with Andrea Tisot, who will continue to serve as Managing Director. He has been with WEB Windenergie AG since 2023 as Head of Business Development and brings more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership positions at European and international technology companies, with a strong focus on renewable energy. Previously, he was responsible at Vestas for sales in Southern Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa. In addition, he held global P&L responsibilities at Siemens VAI. Rainer Karan holds a degree in Mechatronics from Johannes Kepler University Linz and has served in several board-level roles within relevant industry associations.

In Germany, at her own request, Sissi Grossmann is stepping down from her role as Managing Director and will be succeeded by Reinhard Kainz, who will continue to run the business together with Steffen Lucht. He previously served as Managing Director of the Italian W.E.B subsidiaries and has been with the company since 2009. His professional career began in accounting and controlling at the Raiffeisen Group, followed by roles in the textile industry and the automotive supply sector. With his many years of experience within the W.E.B Group — including positions as Head of Controlling and Financing as well as Managing Director of subsidiaries in the United States and Canada — he brings extensive expertise to his new role.

With these management changes, WEB Windenergie AG further strengthens its leadership structure and sets the course for continued successful development in both markets.
