W.E.B Production Report – June 2025
07/2025 - Back to overview
Extremely Warm and Dry – Monthly Output Below Target
The total production for the month came in at 105,182 MWh, falling short of the planned target.
This June was largely dominated by high-pressure systems, resulting in consistently summer-like to hot summer conditions. Low-pressure systems were rare, which negatively impacted wind power generation. As a result, target production levels were not reached in Austria, France, and Italy. There was slightly more atmospheric activity in Germany, the Czech Republic, Canada, and the U.S., where production targets were exceeded.
The above-average temperatures were accompanied by significantly more sunshine than usual. This allowed the solar segment to exceed planned production targets in Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic. In contrast, conditions were somewhat cloudier in the U.S. and Italy, leading to missed solar targets in those regions.
